Changes to my study program


Today I’m going to tell you about my career and their study program. I'm study Anthropology with mention in Archaeology, since four years ago. This career has a extensive trajectory in the University of Chile, but in spite of everything, if I could, will change a lot of things. In first place, about subjects, the university of Chile is very traditionalist and classical for their contents, and very close to the academy word, because of it, ignore in great degree the new waves about archaeology, and in most of the cases they brings to the discipline news perspectives and the possibility of self- criticism vision to the classicals waves about a critical position with the present time, like archaeology of present .
In second place, a great problem is the infrastructure, because the enrolment it’s so upper in relation to establishment installations. Examples of this situations are the unavailability of classrooms or the existence of only one little laboratory for more than 150 students and we have a sit in the floor.
For other place, I change the teaching methods of some teachers if I could, because are the type of persons who believes greater than all of their students, and for known more thinks that treat like  a dumb to the students, I think that mention before is abuse of power, and is the worst way of learn.

In spite of everything mentioned before, I like very much my career, but have a lot of things that could be better in the university.

Today I going to talk about a postgraduate course that I would consider taking in the future. Such as commented in the last blog, I would like taking some kind of course about archaeology of present or “archaeology of us” as it named in english. My goal is work it  around the topic of humans rights in my future. This is because I feel that archeology have to social role that not being take advantage of up to now, and be very necessary in the investigations process, because across the material culture and their remainders oan be possible study the “silent areas”, like disappear persons cases in military dictatorships. If I had to choose a place with study this topic, I believe that I would like do it in  Spain, maybe, because in this country the topic are very development because they had to work around the Franco’s dictatorship, or Germany. This time I´m going to tell you about my camera, my favorite piece of technology.  One of my hobbies always has been take a pictures, for that reason my camera is very important for me. I had the camera when I was fourteen years old and was a birthday´s gift from my uncle,  this is other reason for that´s why is very important to me.  I not use my camera periodically,  I do it whe I inspired and when I go to  beautyfulls places. In fact always I travel  carry it.  I like take a off-guards pictures, because show it the real way of the people  is. The last time when I used my camara it was yesterday, when I go to conmemoration in "Estadio Nacional" If I hadn´t have  my camera, couldn´t take a pictures, because is the only that I have, therefore  couldn´t fill my photo almbums.
